Agricultural Appreciation Breakfast

The Chamber of Commerce, Simpson Co Extension Service and the Simpson Co Farm Bureau Federation will host the first annual Agricultural Appreciation Breakfast to raise awareness of National Farm-City Week in Simpson County.  This will be an opportunity for local businessmen and women to enjoy fellowship and to give thanks to those who work diligently throughout the year to raise food products that we are so fortunate to enjoy.   The breakfast, catered by the FSHS Catering Cats, will be held at 7 am at United Methodist Church CLC and will showcase many local farm products.  High School student Lily Robertson will present her winning Farm Bureau speech and State Representative Wilson Stone, a farmer himself, will discuss the importance of agriculture in our local and state economies.

The breakfast is free.  Please RSVP by Friday, November 14…call the Chamber or Extension Office.
