On October 21st at 8:00 pm, the Franklin-Simpson Arts Council and the Gallery on the Square will present “AT THE GALLERY”, a night of great musical entertainment, featuring THE DEAD BROKE BARONS and THE BLUE WILLYS! The Dead Broke Barons include Shane Johnson, (guitar,mandolin,banjo and vocals), Hunter Colson, (bass and vocals), Seth Pedigo
harmonica,kazoo and vocals). They sing their original music. They were featured on The Lost River Sessions and just recently performed at the Capitol Arts Center in Bowling Green. The Blue Willys are a blues based band who also play some rhythm and blues, classic rock, and
a few original songs. Their members include:
Graham Hudspeth from BG…a well-known, respected musician and songwriter. He has worked with The Songfarmers, Cootie Brown, and The Thrashing Fossils
He plays bass,vocals.
Johnny Coker is from Franklin but now lives in BG. He is also a
respected musician and has worked with The Fender Benders, Tyronne Dunn, and many more. He plays keyboard. Shane Johnson is from Franklin and lives in BG and is a well-respected musician and songwriter. He has
worked with The Songfarmers, The Dead Broke Barons, Black Market Peepshow and more. He plays drums and vocals in this band.
Ron McKay is from Franklin and lives in BG. He is a
Ling-time singer and picker from the area.
He plays harmonica and vocals. Tommy Johnson is a well-known and respected musician and songwriter who lives in Franklin. He has worked with
The Songfarmers, The Thrashing Fossils, The Dixie Line Band and many more. He plays lead guitar and vocals.
