2024 Garden Spot 5K Run & Walk
The Garden Spot 5K Run & Walk, Presented by the Med Center Health /The Medical Center at Franklin, will be August 10. In addition, by popular demand, we are offering the ability to participate virtually in this year’s race. The Garden Spot has become a favorite for runners and walkers from across the southeast and is proudly a Bowling Green Road Runners Grand Prix Event. The primarily flat course carries participants through historic downtown Franklin and into beautiful partially shaded residential areas, finishing back at the old Simpson County Courthouse. Awards in fourteen age categories are presented from the bandstand as participants as well as onlookers enjoy the shaded area provided by 100 year old maple trees.
Team Challenge: Teams of 15 or more can participate in the Team Challenge. Contact the Chamber to get your team registered! Challenge deadline is July 12.
