DESCRIPTION:Charity ride benefiting Simpson County Literacy Center and held in conjunction with the SOKY Earth Day Festival.  Newly established routes in Simpson county.  Beautiful country roads with great pavement.  Rolling Hills\, with just one or two more difficult hills on the 62 and 46 mile routes. \nAll proceeds from the ride will benefit the Simpson County Literacy Center\, an adult education center in Franklin that “Lifts up lives through learning.” You can learn more about Simpson County Literacy at http://www.scliteracycenter.org \nThe routes will be clearly marked with spray paint directions and/or signs. If you wish to view the route maps\, you can see each route distance off of this page: http://ridewithgps.com/events/Square-to-Square-Ride1 \nThose registering before April 5 will receive a t-shirt – those registering on April 5 or afterward will receive a t-shirt on a first come\, first served basis. \nWe will offer SAG stops every ~10 miles for the 32\, 46 and 62 mile routes with food and drinks\, and a single stop on the 12 mile route. \nEvent details and schedule\nSchedule: 62\, and 46  @8:00am\, 22\, and 12  mile start after \nParking:  Park on or around the Square. There are larger parking lots at the corner of High and Cedar St\, and High and Madison St.

DESCRIPTION:Operation Preparation was started seven years ago to bring community volunteers into our schools to encourage and advise 8th and 10th grade students on college and careers.  This year\, Operation Preparation for 10th grade students will be held February 5 – February 8.  We are planning to conduct the FSMS Operation Preparation in March 2019.  Each advising session will take approximately 20 minutes and is designed to provide both information and inspiration for the student to achieve college/career-readiness.
