DESCRIPTION:On October 21st at 8:00 pm\, the Franklin-Simpson Arts Council and the Gallery on the Square will present “AT THE GALLERY”\, a night of great musical entertainment\, featuring THE DEAD BROKE BARONS and THE BLUE WILLYS! The Dead Broke Barons include Shane Johnson\, (guitar\,mandolin\,banjo and vocals)\, Hunter Colson\, (bass and vocals)\, Seth Pedigo\n(guitar\,mandolin\,banjo\,\nharmonica\,kazoo and vocals). They sing their original music. They were featured on The Lost River Sessions and just recently performed at the Capitol Arts Center in Bowling Green. The Blue Willys are a blues based band who also play some rhythm and blues\, classic rock\, and\na few original songs. Their members include:\nGraham Hudspeth from BG…a well-known\, respected musician and songwriter. He has worked with The Songfarmers\, Cootie Brown\, and The Thrashing Fossils\nHe plays bass\,vocals.\nJohnny Coker is from Franklin but now lives in BG. He is also a\nrespected musician and has worked with The Fender Benders\, Tyronne Dunn\, and many more. He plays keyboard. Shane Johnson is from Franklin and lives in BG and is a well-respected musician and songwriter. He has\nworked with The Songfarmers\, The Dead Broke Barons\, Black Market Peepshow and more. He plays drums and vocals in this band.\nRon McKay is from Franklin and lives in BG. He is a\nLing-time singer and picker from the area.\nHe plays harmonica and vocals. Tommy Johnson is a well-known and respected musician and songwriter who lives in Franklin. He has worked with\nThe Songfarmers\, The Thrashing Fossils\, The Dixie Line Band and many more. DESCRIPTION:There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian.  By turns wicked\, funny\, warm\, romantic and touching\, The Music Man is family entertainment at its best. Meredith Wilson’s six-time\, Tony Award winning musical comedy has been entertaining audiences since 1957 and is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation. \nThe Franklin-Simpson Community Arts Council will be presenting The Music Man on July 21\,22\,23 at 7:00pm & 24at 3:00pm at the Goodnight Auditorium in Franklin.  It is being directed by Jeff Moore with Musical Direction by Eric Doades.
