PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

 2014 HALLOWEEN GENERAL TRICK OR TREATING HOURS FOR THE CITY OF FRANKLIN, KENTUCKY HAVE BEEN SET FOR FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 5:30 PM AND 8:00 PM

The Mayor, Commissioners and Franklin Police ask for your help in creating a safe holiday environment for all our citizens, and offer the following tips to trick or treaters.

Wear colors that are easily visible – avoid costumes that restrict your vision or pose a tripping hazard

Go with a grown-up – Don’t go alone!3

Be aware of vehicle traffic and stay on sidewalks when possible

Carry a flashlight

Trick or Treat at known houses and those that welcome trick or treaters

Residents who welcome Trick or Treaters are ask to leave their porch light on

Have your parents check your treats before consuming any!
