School Safety Forum

In light of the recent school tragedies and our community’s concern for the safety and security of students, staff and visitors in our schools, Simpson County Schools is hosting a Community Forum Tuesday, February 27 at 6pm in the FSHS Gymnasium.  Local law enforcement, emergency management, and other first responders have agreed to participate in this important discussion.  The purpose of this forum is to engage our community in dialogue about current school district safety measures, some immediate next steps the schools are considering, and to hear your suggestions for making our students as safe as possible in our schools.  If you have any questions prior to the Community Forum, please feel free to call me at 270.586.8877.
