Job Description
Train to be a Machine Operator
The program offers eight weeks of training at no cost and immediate full-time employment and apprenticeship as a Machine Operator with Vermont Thread Gage
(up to 12 full-time positions) upon successful completion.
Qualifications Required
High School degree and/or an equivalent of education and experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be mechanically inclined
Strong ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical functions
Basic Computer Skills
Effective oral communication skills
Must have the ability to carry out assigned tasks
Must be quality oriented with attention to details
Familiarity with LEAN principles and waste elimination are a plus
